Do you want to know something crazy about working for yourself?
You never fully feel like you know what the heck you’re doing.

I remember when I first started lashing (way back when I worked 40+ hrs a week), I thought that feeling was a bad thing - that I wouldn’t be able to make this a thing because I didn’t know what I was doing.

Even when I got better at lashes I had that feeling like I didn’t know what to do now while also knowing I had potential for more.

And believe it or not, I still don’t FEEL like I know what i’m doing most days.

I still feel like the same girl who was scrolling through Instagram, looking at all the talented lash artists, and lash suppliers, secretly thinking that this could be something for me… if I could just figure out how to actually do it.

There wasn’t a specific moment when I knew that becoming a lash supplier was my future. It was more like an annoying gut feeling that wouldn’t go away, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself that it wasn’t possible for me.

Day after day, I envisioned the life I would lead as a successful lash business owner. The thought of fully stepping into my dream and owning my business kept me up at night!

For three years, I tried everything to grow and during this time, I was still working full-time, wondering when the heck I would figure this thing out…

When I officially made a name for myself as a lash artist, working on 10-12 clients a week while still working full time and with a baby on the way I realized that I couldn't maintain this lifestyle of waking up at 4 am and getting home at 9 pm Every. Single. Day.

This was my sign to finally "figure my ish out" - I knew what I was doing wasn’t working the way I envisioned, so I had to pivot.

I told my husband, "I want to grow my own business, but I don't know if it will be successful"

He said  “You’re already doing the work, talking to clients and other lash artists. You just need to let them know you will be their go to for supplies for now on. Stop hoping it will happen and make it happen”

That's when the heavens opened up, and the light bulb turned on! No duh! I already had a “client base” with my lash friends and lash clients. There is no way I could fail! I woke up the next morning and started a wholesaling account with my lash company and made my first order.

It only took three years to figure it out, but I finally did it.

I started posting and telling everyone that I would be carrying their supplies, which turned into ongoing orders and finally revenue in my pocket outside of lashing and my full time job (which I quickly quit!)

And now, I have an entire lash company that I can use to teach you how to be a full-time lash supplier in your area without the hassle of sourcing and branding!

It's crazy to look back at where I started because I had NO CLUE what I was doing. But now I realize that this feeling is NORMAL, which means that you are growing outside your comfort zone.

I could have easily just stayed in my 9-5 and kept lash wholesaling as a side-hustle, but the only reason I didn't fail was simply that I didn't give up. I kept trying. And you should too.

You deserve to live the life of your dreams.
